We had a very restful sleep and woke up to the beautiful frost tipped plains of eastern Montana. The terrain has become more rugged (less rolling) and interesting but is not yet mountainous. There seem to be plenty of cows and farms in this state as well as the previous states we drove through.
We are 230 miles from Bullings, MT and listening to Neil Gaiman's novel "Stardust".
Cell phones typically update time zone changes within seconds/minutes of pinging off of a new cell tower. It's fun to stare at the phone clock to see it happen :)... well, fun is relative to the tedium of a long drive.
