Nope, it's not a Goat-A- Lope. My favorite animal at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego this weekend was the Aoudad(pronounced 'oo-dad'). As our tram driver said, "An Aoudad is an Aoudad". Actually, it's a sheep! Here's some info on Aoudads. At least click to see the picture. You don't have to read all about them.
They are just what I imagined when I heard the tale of the Billy Goat Gruff as a kid. You know the one where the Gruff goats are under the bridge and you have to get permission to pass, or something like that....
